Job Summary
We are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer responsible for preventive and breakdown maintenance of plant machinery and equipment in machining and press shop operations. The candidate should have experience in handling industrial electrical systems, troubleshooting machine issues, and ensuring minimum downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of CNC, VMC, HMC machines and press shop equipment.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults in power press machines, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and utility equipment.
- Maintain electrical panels, motors, drives, PLC systems, sensors, and control circuits.
- Ensure smooth functioning of press shop machines, feeders, compressors, and related utilities.
- Attend machine breakdowns and resolve issues within minimum time.
- Monitor and maintain plant electrical systems and power distribution.
- Maintain maintenance records, checklists, and breakdown reports.
- Ensure electrical safety compliance and safe maintenance practices.
- Support installation and commissioning of new machines/equipment.
- Coordinate with production and tool room teams for smooth operations.
Required Skills
- Knowledge of PLC, VFD, electrical panels, industrial wiring, and automation systems.
- Experience in press shop and machining maintenance activities.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and troubleshoot circuits.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and safety standards.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in automotive or manufacturing industry preferred.
- Hands-on experience in press shop maintenance and CNC machine maintenance.
