Overview
Our Investment Portfolio Solutions team is a core strategic growth area for the business. We are looking to strengthen our (growing) team of 25+ finance professionals who provide innovative investment advice to large global investors including Endowments, Charities, Wealth Managers, Local Authorities, Insurance Companies and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
This role offers the opportunity to work across a broad range of investment consulting activities, with responsibility for facilitating and preparing high‑quality advice spanning strategic asset allocation, fund selection, sustainable investment and risk management. Our team is client facing and, as consultants, we have overall responsibility for investment advice we deliver, backed up by specialists across our modelling, manager research, sustainable investment and reporting teams.

Responsibilities:
Investment Consulting provides a variety of high-quality services to clients through structured engagements. These services include: strategic setting of investment objectives, strategic asset allocation, performance measurement and evaluation, investment monitoring and reporting, custodian selection, transition advice, statements of investment policy and global research services. Primarily focused on supporting colleagues in providing investment consulting services for assigned client accounts or projects, typically preparing first draft of advice. As an experienced team member, role incumbent(s) provide proactive and creative investment support to clients and manage daily interaction with clients and/or other related service providers in relation to business as usual matters. Contributes as member of the Manager Research team (or delegated specific responsibilities), manages and delivers practice/research area work and conducts investment and/or investment manager research, including alternatives research

Produce manager monitoring and investment performance reports for pension scheme clients

Have a good understanding of sustainable investment practices

Prepare governance and regulatory deliverables including TCFD reports, Implementation Statements and Scheme Returns.

Support production of Scheme Reports & Accounts and member communications (e.g. SMPI statements)

Calculating and Reviewing investment performance returns for pension schemes

Performing portfolio and risk analysis

Preparing papers for investment consultants and trustees

Monitoring market developments and explaining impacts on portfolios

Supporting strategic asset allocation reviews Conducting manager due diligence and research

Special projects or assignments as instructed by your supervisor/manager.

Working on bespoke data projects that help inform our investment decision-making
About you
Qualifications:
Minimum Required Degree: Bachelor’s in Finance/Maths/ /Economics/Commerce

Preferred Degree: Masters in Finance/Maths/ /Economics/Commerce
Certificate(s)/Special Training: A Professional qualification: eg. CFA, CAIA (Good to have). Well versed in the Microsoft Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
