About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Bespoke Menswear Store Manager to lead our retail and client experience operations. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of luxury menswear, client servicing, sales management, and bespoke tailoring processes.
The role requires someone who can deliver exceptional customer experiences while managing store operations, team performance, and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the store.
- Deliver exceptional client service and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Understand client requirements for bespoke garments including Bandhgalas, suits, jackets, trousers, kurtas, and ceremonial wear.
- Conduct client consultations and assist with styling recommendations.
- Coordinate measurements, fittings, alterations, and delivery timelines.
- Manage the store team, assign responsibilities, and monitor performance.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and drive business growth.
- Maintain visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
- Handle inventory, fabrics, trims, and order management.
- Coordinate with production and tailoring teams to ensure timely execution.
- Manage appointments, VIP clients, and special orders.
- Resolve customer concerns professionally and maintain brand reputation.
- Prepare sales reports and provide regular business updates to management.
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in luxury retail, bespoke tailoring, or premium menswear.
- Strong understanding of fabrics, garment construction, and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership and team management abilities.
- Strong sales and client relationship skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and order management systems.
- Willingness to travel for client appointments and trunk shows when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in bespoke menswear or luxury fashion brands.
- Knowledge of traditional Indian menswear including Bandhgala, Achkan, and ceremonial wear.
- Existing client relationships within premium fashion or luxury segments will be an added advantage.
