Job role:
- Job role: Test Engineer - QA
- Educational qualification: ME/MTech-Computer Science, BE/BTech - Computer Science.
- Age: 24 to 30 years
- Job location: Koramangala, Bangalore. We work from the Office.
- Years of experience: 2 to 5 years
What you will be doing:
- Read and Understand the Functional and Technical Specification and have complete understanding of the work before commencing the work
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases in accordance with established standards.
- Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on time.
- Adhere to the Quality Management Standards established in the organization.
- Understanding of the SDLC/STLC process defined in the organization and following it without any deviation
- Providing support to the support tickets raised by the business users
- Analyzing and resolving technical and application Logic related problems
- Ensure high quality of the application by identifying and reporting defects effectively
- Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG.
- Develop and maintain Hybrid Automation Frameworks in accordance with project and organizational standards.
- Create, maintain, and execute Automation Test Scripts (ATS) based on Functional Specifications, Technical Specifications, and approved test cases.
- Analyze application changes and identify the impact on existing automation scripts, locators, test data, and framework components.
- Integrate and execute automation test suites through CI/CD pipelines using tools using Azure DevOps.
Core skills required:
- Well versed with Manual and Automation Testing
- Defect tracking and reporting
- Execute Test Plan
- Logging, Analysis and prioritization of defects
- Test case preparation
- Excellent communication and Analytic skills
- Delivering on time with high quality standards
Primary skills:
- 2+ years of experience in Manual and Automation Testing
- Must have experience in Test Cases and Records (Unit, Regression, Integration & Surface)
- Experience in executing test cases, identification of defects and recording the defects in Defect Tracker
- Should know Test execution as per Test Plan
- Logging, Analysis and Prioritization of Defects
- Hands-on experience with Java, Selenium WebDriver, and TestNG
- Experience with Allure Report for test execution and reporting
- Experience in Hybrid Automation Framework development
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices such as Jenkins or Azure DevOps
- Proficient in JIRA or Azure DevOps for project management, task tracking, and defect management
Secondary skills:
- Should know Build and Release process
- Proven experience of delivering on time and with quality
- API testing using postman and knowledge of Rest Assured
- Analyzing and Prioritization of Defects according to severity
Desired Skills
- Prior testing experience in any of the ERP products is preferred.
- Knowledge of Project Life Cycle
- Knowledge of using any of the standard Defect Management Tool
- Ability for learning the products and the business processes of the product very quickly.
- Knowledge of QC Process and Templates compliance
- Hands-on experience of configuration management and version maintenance
- Prior experience of working in the shipping domain
