Job OverviewWe are looking for a friendly, professional, and empathetic Telephone Attender & Receptionist to be the first point of contact for pet parents. As a vital part of Lyka Pet Hospital, you will manage daily front desk operations, field inquiries, and assist pet owners with scheduling and routine hospital procedures. A genuine love for animals and good communication skills are mandatory.Responsibilities and Duties
- Telephone Handling & Inquiries: Answer incoming calls, address pet parent queries, and route medical emergencies to the veterinary team immediately.
- Appointment Scheduling: Book, confirm, and reschedule doctor consultation slots, surgeries, and grooming appointments.
- Patient Check-In & Onboarding: Greet pet owners, create/update pet medical records in the hospital database, and handle OPD billing.
- Follow-Up Reminders: Coordinate with pet parents to send timely reminders for vaccinations, deworming, and health check-ups.
- Clinic Coordination: Maintain a clean, calm reception area and assist veterinarians with managing the daily patient flow.
Key Requirements
- Animal Lover: Must genuinely care for dogs, cats, and birds.
- Education: Minimum 12th Pass; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of front desk, CRM, or receptionist experience (preferably in a medical/hospital or pet care setting).
- Language Skills: Professional fluency in Tamil and basic working knowledge of English; knowing Malayalam or Telugu is a plus.
- Soft Skills: Excellent telephone etiquette, patience, and the ability to remain calm in stressful/emergency pet situations.
