We are looking for a detail-oriented Technical Design & Estimation Engineer with a background in Architecture, Electrical Engineering, or Interior Design. In this role, you will own the technical backend of our sales process. You will analyze architectural layouts, design comprehensive residential electrical/automation concepts, generate accurate Bills of Materials (BOM), and independently prepare commercial quotations using advanced design tools like AutoCAD.Core Responsibilities1. Design & Drawing Creation
- Layout Analysis: Read, interpret, and audit architectural blueprints, structural plans, and interior layouts.
- Electrical Drafting: Design and draft detailed residential electrical drawings, conduit layouts, and automation circuit schematics using AutoCAD or specialized design software.
- Concept Integration: Map out smart home solutions (lighting loops, HVAC control, AV node wiring) directly onto existing architectural designs.
2. Costing, BOM & Quotations
- BOM Generation: Create highly accurate Bills of Materials (BOM) including wiring lengths, modules, controllers, keypads, and third-party integrations.
- Independent Quotations: Estimate project costs independently and prepare final commercial proposals, technical sheets, and variations for the sales team.
- Vendor Coordination: Interact with vendors to secure custom pricing for specialized components when needed. 3. Site & Cross-Functional Alignment
- Technical Validation: Ensure design drawings perfectly match real-world on-site conditions (slabs, beams, false ceilings).
- Execution Hand-off: Provide clear, mistake-free drawings to the on-site electrical contractors, technicians, and project managers.
- Revisions Management: Efficiently update drawings based on revised layout requests from clients or architects.
Ideal Candidate Profile / Key Requirements
- Education: Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Interior Design.
- Technical Software: Hands-on mastery of AutoCAD is mandatory. Experience with Revit, SketchUp, or automation design tools is a huge plus.
- Blueprints & Drawings: Proven ability to study, understand, and independently create complex residential electrical layout drawings.
- Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in electrical drafting, MEP coordination, or automation technical design.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent numerical and estimation skills to ensure zero errors in BOMs and client pricing quotes.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
