Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care across multiple specialties, ensuring clinical excellence, patient safety, and adherence to hospital protocols. The role involves direct patient care, coordination with medical teams, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Clinical Duties
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per treatment plans
- Monitor vital signs and patient condition regularly
- Administer medications, injections, and IV fluids as prescribed
- Assist doctors during examinations and procedures
- Handle emergency situations and provide immediate care
Multispecialty Exposure
- Work across departments such as General Ward, ICU, OT, OPD, or specialty units as assigned
- Adapt to different clinical protocols depending on department needs
- Support cross-functional patient care coordination
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate nursing records, reports, and charts
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards and hospital policies
- Follow infection control practices and safety guidelines
Patient & Attendant Support
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment and care plans
- Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort
- Maintain dignity and confidentiality of patients at all times
Coordination & Communication
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, and support staff
- Ensure smooth handover during shift changes
- Communicate critical updates promptly to senior staff
Required Qualifications
- GNM / B.Sc Nursing from a recognized institution
- Valid Nursing Registration (Maharashtra Nursing Council)
Experience
- 0–5 years of experience in hospital settings
- Freshers can be considered for junior roles
Skills Required
- Strong clinical and patient care skills
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments
- Good communication and teamwork
- Basic computer knowledge (HIS/EMR systems)
- Multilingual (English, Hindi, Marathi preferred)
Preferred Profile
- ICU / Critical Care / Oncology exposure
- Experience in NABH-accredited hospitals
- Skilled in handling emergency cases
