Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager – Procurement with strong expertise in strategic sourcing, procurement, and vendor management, particularly in Wheat and Spices procurement.
The ideal candidate should have excellent commercial negotiation, supplier development, cost optimisation, and food industry procurement experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement long-term procurement and strategic sourcing strategies.
- Lead sourcing and procurement of Wheat, Spices, and other critical raw materials.
- Develop annual sourcing plans and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Identify, evaluate, develop, and onboard reliable suppliers.
- Lead commercial negotiations and drive cost optimisation.
- Monitor commodity prices and manage price volatility risks.
- Conduct supplier audits, performance reviews, and risk assessments.
- Ensure raw materials comply with FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, and other applicable food safety standards.
- Work closely with QA/QC teams to ensure supplier quality compliance.
- Establish traceability systems for critical raw materials.
- Optimise inventory levels and minimise stockouts and overstock.
- Prepare and monitor CapEx and OpEx budgets and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Develop procurement dashboards and monitor key procurement KPIs.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement team.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
- Visit suppliers, warehouses, and agricultural markets as required.

Candidate Profile
- 10–15 years of overall procurement experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Strategic Sourcing
- Strong experience in Wheat and/or Spices procurement
- Food/FMCG/Food Processing industry experience preferred
- Strong vendor development and negotiation capabilities
- Excellent analytical, communication, and decision-making skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle seasonal procurement requirements
- Immediate joiners preferred
Pay: ₹1,600,000.00 - ₹1,800,000.00 per year
