Position: ICU Staff Nurse
Department: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
Location: Eden Critical Care Hospital, Chandigarh
Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a hospital
Qualification: B.Sc. Nursing / GNM with valid Nursing Registration
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
* Monitor and record patients’ vital signs, ECG, oxygen saturation, and other clinical parameters.
* Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and injections as prescribed.
* Operate and monitor ICU equipment such as ventilators, infusion pumps, syringe pumps, monitors, and suction machines.
* Assist doctors during emergency procedures, intubation, CPR, central line insertion, and other critical interventions.
* Maintain accurate nursing documentation and patient records.
* Follow infection control protocols and ensure patient safety at all times.
* Coordinate with doctors and other healthcare professionals for effective patient care.
* Educate and support patients’ families regarding treatment and care.
* Ensure proper handover during shift changes and maintain ICU protocols.
Requirements:
* Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience in a hospital.
* Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and emergency response.
* Ability to work rotational shifts, including nights.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient care skills.
* BLS/ACLS certification will be an added advantage.
Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
