Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Centre Head to take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations, business performance, patient experience, and administrative functioning of the hospital/healthcare centre.
The Centre Head will work closely with doctors, nursing, HR, finance, operations, marketing, and support teams to ensure smooth operations, quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day-to-day operations and performance of the centre.
- Develop and execute plans to achieve revenue, profitability, patient footfall, and operational targets.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as OPD/IPD volumes, occupancy, revenue, collections, patient satisfaction, and service quality.
- Ensure smooth coordination between clinical, nursing, front office, diagnostics, pharmacy, billing, finance, HR, and support departments.
- Maintain high standards of patient experience and service delivery.
- Work closely with doctors and clinical teams to improve service-line performance and patient outcomes.
- Drive patient acquisition, referral relationships, corporate tie-ups, and business development initiatives.
- Identify opportunities for new specialties, services, and revenue streams.
- Monitor centre-level budgets, expenses, procurement, and resource utilization.
- Ensure adequate availability and optimum utilization of manpower, equipment, infrastructure, and other resources.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, statutory requirements, and applicable healthcare regulations.
- Support NABH/accreditation standards, quality initiatives, audits, and documentation.
- Handle patient complaints and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Coordinate with HR for recruitment, manpower planning, employee engagement, and performance management.
- Lead, motivate, and mentor department heads and operational teams.
- Conduct regular review meetings and prepare performance reports for senior management.
- Maintain strong relationships with consultants, patients, corporate clients, insurers/TPAs, vendors, and other stakeholders.
- Implement process improvements to increase operational efficiency and reduce costs.
- Ensure emergency preparedness, safety standards, infection-control practices, and risk-management processes are followed.
Candidate Profile
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- MBA/MHA will be preferred.
- 8–15 years of relevant experience in hospital/healthcare operations.
- Experience managing a hospital, healthcare centre, diagnostic centre, or multi-specialty facility preferred.
- Strong understanding of hospital operations, revenue management, patient services, and healthcare administration.
- Experience in P&L management and business development will be an advantage.
- Knowledge of NABH and healthcare regulatory requirements preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple departments and lead large teams effectively.

Ideal Candidate: A result-oriented healthcare professional with strong hospital operations, business development, P&L, patient experience, and team-management expertise, capable of independently managing and growing a healthcare centre.
Pay: Up to ₹1,800,000.00 per year
