Job Summary
Krishna Hospital & Research Foundation is seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Physician to provide remote reporting and clinical support for our Nuclear Medicine Department.
The hospital has an established Nuclear Medicine Department with SPECT imaging facilities and a dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist & Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) onsite.
The Nuclear Medicine Physician will primarily be responsible for remote interpretation and reporting of Nuclear Medicine studies through our digital reporting platform. Physical presence at the hospital is not required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Remotely interpret and report Nuclear Medicine studies, including SPECT and related investigations.
- Review relevant clinical history and imaging information before reporting.
- Provide accurate, timely and clinically appropriate reports.
- Communicate with the onsite Nuclear Medicine Technologist/RSO regarding technical or clinical requirements when necessary.
- Discuss significant or urgent findings with the referring physician when required.
- Provide appropriate clinical guidance regarding Nuclear Medicine investigations.
- Participate in quality assurance and departmental review activities remotely.
- Maintain professional confidentiality and comply with applicable medical and regulatory requirements.
Reporting & Technology Requirements
The successful candidate should be comfortable with tele-reporting and digital Nuclear Medicine workflows.
Candidates should:
- Have an active ELORA ID suitable for the required reporting workflow.
- Be comfortable reviewing Nuclear Medicine studies remotely.
- Have access to a suitable workstation and reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Be comfortable providing reports electronically.
- Be available for communication with the onsite Nuclear Medicine team when required.
Eligibility
- MD / DNB / DrNB in Nuclear Medicine or an equivalent recognized qualification.
- Valid medical registration with the appropriate regulatory authority.
- Relevant experience in Nuclear Medicine reporting.
- Experience with SPECT reporting is essential/preferred.
- Prior experience with remote reporting / tele-reporting will be an advantage.
