An STP (Sewage Treatment Plant), ETP (Effluent Treatment Plant), and RO (Reverse Osmosis) Technician is responsible for the daily operation, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting of water and wastewater treatment systems. They ensure plants run continuously, meet environmental discharge regulations, and produce compliant treated water.Core ResponsibilitiesPlant Operations: Operate and monitor filtration, pumping, and chemical dosing systems for STP, ETP, and RO plants to ensure uninterrupted water treatment.Testing & Quality Control: Collect and analyze water samples (pH, TDS, hardness, etc.) to ensure treated water meets safety and environmental standards.Maintenance & Servicing: Perform routine preventive maintenance such as cleaning filters, changing pump/blower oil, greasing mechanical parts, and unblocking piping.Troubleshooting: Diagnose system malfunctions (e.g., pressure drops in RO membranes, aeration failures in STP/ETP) and promptly implement corrective actions.Documentation: Record operational data, chemical consumption, and maintenance logs, reporting any abnormalities to facility management.
