Architect Intern — The Open Room
The Open Room is an emerging architecture studio based in Chennai, engaging with architecture through design, research, and spatial exploration.
We are currently looking for an Architecture Intern to assist with ongoing architectural and interior design projects, studio operations, and visual presentations.
Role Responsibilities:
- Assisting in architectural and interior design development
- Drafting and 3D modelling support
- Preparing presentations and visual documentation
- Assisting with research, references, and studio workflow
- Supporting workshop and exploratory initiatives of the studio
Preferred Skills:
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and presentation software
- Interest in architecture, interiors, and spatial thinking
- Good communication and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a collaborative studio environment
