- Monitor and maintain utilities such as compressors, DG sets, chillers, cooling towers, boilers, HVAC systems, pumps, and other supporting systems.
• Prepare daily/monthly maintenance reports and provide updates on breakdowns, preventive maintenance, and utility performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and utility-related breakdowns.
• Ensure maximum availability and reliability of machines and utility systems.
• Conduct regular inspection of equipment and identify potential failures before breakdowns.
• Maintain maintenance schedules, checklists, breakdown records, and equipment history.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality, and other departments for planned maintenance activities.
• Ensure proper functioning of electrical panels, motors, drives, sensors, PLC-related systems, and other electrical equipment.
• Monitor utility consumption and identify opportunities for energy and cost reduction.
• Maintain adequate inventory of critical spares, consumables, tools, and maintenance materials.
• Coordinate with external vendors and service providers for specialized maintenance and equipment servicing.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures, statutory requirements, and company maintenance standards.
• Plan and execute preventive and breakdown maintenance of production machinery and utility equipment.
• Follow proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) and permit-to-work procedures during maintenance activities.
• Support installation, commissioning, modification, and improvement of machines and utility systems.
• Analyze recurring breakdowns and implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain housekeeping and 5S standards in the maintenance and utility areas.
