About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Control Assistant to support our Legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting their career in administration or document management.
The role focuses on maintaining company records, organizing physical and digital documents, updating trackers, and ensuring important documents are stored securely and can be retrieved efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize, file, and maintain physical and electronic company documents.
- Scan and upload documents into the company's digital filing system.
- Maintain document registers, logs, and Microsoft Excel trackers.
- Ensure documents are correctly categorized and stored.
- Retrieve documents for authorized personnel when required.
- Archive inactive documents according to company procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality of legal, employee, vendor, and company records.
- Support document audits and record verification activities.
- Assist the Legal team with day-to-day document management and administrative tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in any discipline.
- 0–2 years of administrative or document management experience (Freshers are welcome to apply).
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team.
Preferred Skills
- Experience maintaining records or documentation.
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets and digital filing systems.
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude.
- Reliable, organized, and responsible.
