Position Summary
The Manager – HR Generalist is responsible for end-to-end people operations, employee experience, and site governance for the assigned location. This role serves as the People & Culture representative and single point of contact (SPOC) for all service lines operating from the site.
This position collaborates closely with functional P&C BPs on matters relating to performance management, employee relations, organizational changes, and leadership support.
The role requires a seasoned HR professional who can lead the location independently, influence senior stakeholders, and ensure a seamless, compliant, and engaging workplace environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Location Support
Lead and manage all HR activities at the site, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and functional standards.
Serve as the HR SPOC for all service lines present at the location.
Represent HR in location governance forums, leadership reviews, and cross-functional decision-making.
Drive site-level priorities in collaboration with Facilities, IT, Compliance, and Communications teams.
2. HR Operations, Compliance & Governance
Oversee end-to-end HR operational processes including Onboarding documentation, workforce administration, HRIS updates, and compliance requirements.
Ensure adherence to statutory obligations, audits, workplace safety norms, and corporate policies.
Drive process excellence by identifying gaps, improving workflows, and ensuring quality and timelines are met.
Partner with central HR operations for smooth execution of processes like onboarding, exits, transfers, and payroll-related inputs
3. Employee Relations & Case Management (in partnership with HRBP)
Act as the first point of contact for employee concerns, grievances, behavioral issues, or workplace conflicts.
Conduct preliminary assessments, gather data, and partner with functional HRBPs for formal investigations or performance management cases.
Ensure cases are handled with fairness, confidentiality, and adherence to legal and policy frameworks.
4. Employee Experience, Culture & Engagement
Design and lead the location’s employee engagement strategy-events, culture-building initiatives, community activities, and communication forums.
Drive periodic employee connects, pulse checks, and present insights to HRBPs and leadership teams.
Strengthen local culture by ensuring a safe, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
Required Qualifications
10–14 years of progressive HR experience Generalist role, site lead.
Strong understanding of HR processes, compliance, employee relations, and multi-stakeholder management.
Experience managing complex site operations or multi-business-unit environments preferred.
Ability to lead independently, manage escalations, and influence leaders without direct authority.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
Hands-on expertise in HRIS platforms, data reporting, and HR compliance frameworks.
