- Staff Management: Hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating kitchen staff (cooks, dishwashers).
- Food Preparation & Quality: Ensuring all dishes meet quality, presentation, and recipe standards; overseeing cooking processes.
- Health & Safety: Enforcing sanitation codes, hygiene, and food safety protocols (HACCP, local regulations).
- Inventory & Ordering: Monitoring stock, managing storage, rotating products, and placing orders for supplies.
- Operations & Efficiency: Assigning stations, managing workflow, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely service.
- Menu & Cost Control: Assisting with menu planning, developing recipes, portion control, and minimizing waste.
- Customer Service: Addressing customer complaints or concerns related to food.
