Junior Associate – Financial Analyst (AI-Enabled)

Reports to: Vice President / Senior Associate, Investment Research
Experience: 0–2 years | Qualification: CA / MBA (Finance) / CFA L1–L2 / B. Com–BBA with strong quant grounding
Role Purpose
Support deal teams and senior analysts across financial modelling, valuation, research and due diligence — using AI tools to compress turnaround time on data gathering, document review and drafting, while owning the accuracy of every output.
Core Responsibilities
Financial analysis & modelling
- Build and maintain three-statement models, DCF, comparable company and precedent transaction analyses
- Spread financials from annual reports, filings and management accounts; normalize for one-offs
- Track portfolio company KPIs and prepare monthly/quarterly performance packs
Research & due diligence
- Sector and company research, market sizing, competitive benchmarking
- Support commercial and financial due diligence; maintain data room checklists and trackers
- Prepare investment memos, teasers, IMs and pitch decks
AI-enabled workflows
- Use LLM tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) for filing summarisation, transcript analysis, first-draft memos and research synthesis — with mandatory human verification of every figure and citation
- Automate recurring tasks with Python (pandas, openpyxl) or Excel/VBA — data pulls, model refreshes, report generation
- Apply AI/NLP to unstructured data: earnings call sentiment, news flow, management commentary, contract review
- Maintain prompt libraries and documented workflows for the team; flag hallucination and data-confidentiality risks

Compensation
The compensation comprises a fixed salary. Variable compensation will be applicable solely on successful deal closures.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
