Position: Special Educator
Location: Aravali International School, Faridabad
Eligibility Criteria:
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree with B.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent qualification recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
- Valid RCI Registration is mandatory.
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a CBSE or reputed school (preferred).
- Sound knowledge of inclusive education practices, CBSE guidelines, and NEP 2020.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and assess students with special educational needs.
- Prepare, implement, and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Provide remedial and individualized instruction based on students' learning needs.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to ensure inclusive teaching practices.
- Conduct regular assessments and maintain progress records.
- Work closely with parents, counsellors, therapists, and school leadership for holistic student development.
- Guide teachers on classroom accommodations and behavioural intervention strategies.
- Ensure compliance with CBSE inclusive education norms and maintain required documentation.
