Role Overview
We are looking for a Furniture Design Consultant who can understand client requirements, design furniture solutions, prepare concept drawings, and convert enquiries into successful orders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys interacting with clients, has a passion for furniture design, and understands how furniture is built.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet walk-in customers and attend client meetings.
- Understand customer requirements, lifestyle, space, and budget.
- Suggest furniture layouts, materials, finishes, and design solutions.
- Prepare furniture drawings using AutoCAD or hand sketches.
- Guide clients through material and finish selections.
- Prepare quotations with the internal team.
- Coordinate with production to ensure designs are feasible.
- Follow up with prospective clients and convert enquiries into sales.
- Visit project sites for measurements whenever required.
- Ensure a smooth customer experience from enquiry to order confirmation.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and client-handling skills.
- Good understanding of furniture construction and materials.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to prepare furniture drawings and detailed dimensions.
- Basic knowledge of SketchUp is an advantage.
- Good understanding of wood, veneers, laminates, upholstery, hardware, and finishes.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Candidates with experience in:
- Custom furniture companies
- Furniture retail brands
- Interior design firms
- Modular furniture companies
Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
