Job Summary
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our commercial growth and expand our market footprint. In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, secure long-term supply agreements, and manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and industrial buyers. You will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure our manufacturing capabilities align with market demands.
Key Responsibilities:-
Business Development & B2B Sales:
Secure Industrial Contracts: Pitch manufacturing and production capabilities to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), wholesalers, and corporate buyers.
Negotiate Supply Agreements: Finalize long-term contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), pricing structures, and volume discounts.
Manage Sales Pipeline: Source, qualify, and close high-value industrial and commercial leads.
Channel & Territory Management
Expand Distribution Networks: Identify, onboard, and manage regional distributors, dealers, and independent sales agents.
Monitor Market Share: Analyze competitor products, pricing, and factory lead times to maintain a competitive edge.
Forecast Sales Revenue: Provide accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts to inform factory production schedules.
Cross-Functional Factory Collaboration
Align with Production: Work with engineering, QA, and plant operations to verify technical specs, lead times, and capacity before closing deals.
Oversee Custom Orders: Coordinate custom client requests (R&D, tooling, material changes) from initial blueprint to final delivery.
Resolve Supply Issues: Manage client expectations regarding production delays, logistics bottlenecks, or product quality claims.
Job Requirements & Qualifications:-
Education: Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
Experience: 5+ years of sales experience specifically within a manufacturing, industrial, or B2B production environment.
Technical Aptitude: Ability to read technical data sheets, understand manufacturing processes, and explain complex product specifications.
Negotiation Skills: Proven track record of handling long sales cycles and closing complex, multi-year supply contracts.
Software Skills: Proficiency with manufacturing-focused ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and standard CRM software.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
