The HDPE Plumbing Supervisor will be responsible for supervising HDPE plumbing installation works and managing a team of technicians at the project site. The role involves ensuring proper installation, jointing, testing, quality, safety, and timely completion of plumbing works as per approved drawings and specifications.
- Supervise HDPE plumbing installation and related site activities.
- Lead and coordinate a team of HDPE plumbing technicians/helpers.
- Assign daily work to technicians and monitor their productivity.
- Supervise butt fusion and electrofusion jointing works.
- Ensure proper pipe cutting, alignment, fitting, jointing, and installation.
- Check pipe levels, slopes, routing, and alignment as per drawings.
- Supervise installation of HDPE pipes, fittings, valves, and related plumbing components.
- Ensure proper testing of pipelines, including pressure/leakage testing as applicable.
- Coordinate with the Site Engineer regarding drawings, site requirements, and technical issues.
- Ensure availability of pipes, fittings, tools, fusion machines, and other required materials.
- Inspect completed work and ensure proper workmanship and quality.
- Maintain daily work progress, manpower, material, and equipment records.
- Coordinate with other trades to avoid clashes and delays at the site.
- Guide technicians in proper use and maintenance of plumbing tools and equipment.
- Ensure safe handling, storage, and installation of HDPE pipes and fittings.
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with HSE requirements and site safety procedures.
- Report daily progress, manpower requirements, and site issues to the Project Manager/Site Engineer.
- Ensure work is completed within the planned schedule and required quality standards.
- The Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Managing HDPE Plumbing Technicians and Helpers.
- Allocating daily tasks and work locations.
- Monitoring attendance and productivity.
- Providing technical guidance to technicians.
- Checking the quality of work completed by the team.
- Reporting manpower requirements to the Project Manager.
- Strong practical knowledge of HDPE plumbing systems.
- Experience in HDPE pipe installation, butt fusion and electrofusion.
- Ability to supervise and guide plumbing technicians.
- Ability to read basic plumbing drawings and layouts.
- Knowledge of pressure testing and troubleshooting of HDPE pipelines.
- Good manpower coordination and site supervision skills.
- Knowledge of basic plumbing tools, equipment, and materials.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
- Strong focus on safety, quality, and timely completion.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
