Banquet Manager – Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Banquet Manager to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of banquet events. The ideal candidate will ensure exceptional guest experiences by managing event operations, leading banquet staff, and coordinating with the kitchen and other departments to deliver high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and supervise all banquet and event operations.
• Coordinate with clients to understand event requirements and ensure expectations are met.
• Work closely with the kitchen, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise banquet staff.
• Ensure all banquet rooms are set up according to event specifications.
• Monitor food and beverage service standards and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle guest requests, concerns, and complaints professionally and promptly.
• Manage staffing levels and labor costs efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of banquet equipment, linens, and supplies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and company policies.
• Prepare post-event reports and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in banquet or food and beverage operations, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hospitality or event management software is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,452.14 - ₹44,969.96 per month
