About the Role
We are looking for a sharp, detail-oriented Process Associate with at least 2 years of experience to join our growing UK B2B Merchant Services team. In this role, you will be the backbone of our operations, managing the end-to-end processing pipeline for UK-based business clients looking to set up, upgrade, or switch their card processing (PDQ) infrastructure.
You will analyze merchant statements, handle underwriting coordination, and ensure a seamless onboarding experience for corporate clients across the United Kingdom.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Statement Analysis: Review and dissect UK merchant statements to identify current interchange rates, premium commercial card fees, and hidden compliance charges.
- Onboarding & Compliance: Manage the end-to-end KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) checks required for onboarding UK B2B corporate entities.
- Terminal & Account Provisioning: Coordinate the configuration and dispatch of smart PDQ terminals (e.g., Pax, Ingenico) ensuring correct terminal IDs (TIDs) and merchant IDs (MIDs) are mapped.
- Underwriting Liaison: Collaborate with UK-based banking partners and acquiring banks to resolve pending applications, underwriting queries, or risk assessments.
- Data Integrity: Maintain flawless records in our CRM, ensuring all service level agreements (SLAs) regarding account setup timelines (typically 4 working days) are met.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements)
- Experience: Minmum 2+ years of core experience in International B2B Voice/Non-Voice processes—ideally within Merchant Services, Fintech, Card Payments, or UK Financial Services.
- Domain Knowledge: Solid understanding of the payment industry ecosystem (PDQ terminals, acquiring banks, payment gateways, Interchange++, and PCI-DSS compliance regulations).
- UK Market Familiarity: Prior experience interacting with UK corporate clients or managing UK financial data. Comfort with UK regional geography and business structures (Ltd, PLC, Sole Traders) is a huge plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong numerical aptitude to quickly read statements and calculate percentage savings.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills, with a professional tone suited for corporate B2B decision-makers.
What’s in it for You?
- Competitive salary with performance-linked incentives.
- Exposure to the fast-growing global Fintech and B2B payment landscape.
