Job Description
We are looking for an energetic and motivated Field Sales Executive for our paint retail business.
The primary responsibility of the candidate will be to visit painters, painting contractors, construction sites, builders, and potential customers in the local area to generate business and promote products available at our shop.
The candidate will be responsible for building strong relationships with painters and contractors, identifying upcoming painting projects, understanding product requirements, and encouraging customers to purchase paints and related products from our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit painters, painting contractors, builders, and construction sites regularly.
- Identify potential customers and new business opportunities in the assigned area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local painters and contractors.
- Generate leads for paint and related product requirements.
- Identify upcoming residential, commercial, and construction projects.
- Promote Berger Paints and other products available through our shop.
- Explain product benefits, available options, offers, and schemes to potential customers.
- Encourage painters and customers to purchase products from our shop.
- Follow up with painters and customers regarding their upcoming requirements.
- Generate repeat business through regular visits and relationship building.
- Collect information about ongoing and upcoming painting projects.
- Coordinate with the shop team regarding customer requirements and orders.
- Achieve assigned sales and customer acquisition targets.
- Maintain daily records of customer visits, leads, follow-ups, and sales generated.
- Monitor competitors and share market information with management.
- Help expand our network of painters, contractors, and regular customers.
Candidate Requirements
- Good communication and convincing skills.
- Comfortable travelling locally and meeting customers in person.
- Strong interest in field sales and business development.
- Ability to build relationships with painters, contractors, and customers.
- Self-motivated and target-oriented.
- Ability to identify new sales opportunities.
- Two-wheeler preferred for local field visits.
- Valid driving licence preferred.
- Knowledge of the local market is an advantage.
