Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Inventory Manager to manage inventory, stores and material-control activities at our manufacturing facility. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining optimum inventory levels, ensuring accurate stock records and ensuring timely availability of materials for production and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day stores and inventory operations.
- Control receipt, storage, identification, preservation and issue of materials.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP.
- Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and ensure timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and cycle counting.
- Identify and control slow-moving, non-moving and obsolete inventory.
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.
- Ensure proper binning, tagging, FIFO/FEFO and material traceability.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Production, Maintenance, Quality, Finance and Planning teams.
- Ensure timely availability of critical spares, consumables and production materials.
- Prepare inventory MIS reports and monitor stock accuracy.
- Supervise stores personnel and allocate daily responsibilities.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, safety, housekeeping and audit requirements.
- Support inventory optimization and reduction of carrying costs.
- Coordinate with procurement for material shortages and replenishment requirements.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse management.
- Hands-on experience with SAP/ERP.
- Good understanding of engineering materials, spares and consumables.
- Strong analytical, leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and coordination ability.
- Experience in manufacturing/forging/engineering industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹11,705.13 - ₹28,883.38 per month
