Job Summary
Kannur Medical College is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lab Manager to oversee the operations of our high-volume diagnostic laboratory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient laboratory operations, maintaining quality standards, managing laboratory personnel, and ensuring compliance with NABL guidelines and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of a high-volume diagnostic laboratory.
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate laboratory staff to ensure optimal performance.
- Ensure compliance with NABL standards, quality assurance protocols, and laboratory regulations.
- Monitor laboratory workflows, turnaround times, and operational efficiency.
- Implement and maintain quality control and quality improvement programs.
- Coordinate equipment maintenance, calibration, and inventory management.
- Develop and enforce laboratory policies, SOPs, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with clinicians and hospital departments to ensure quality patient services.
- Prepare operational reports and maintain laboratory documentation.
- Lead process improvement initiatives and ensure continuous compliance with accreditation standards.
Qualifications
- M.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT)
- MBA in Hospital Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.(Preferred)
Experience
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in a high-volume diagnostic laboratory.
- 3–4 years of laboratory management or supervisory experience.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale diagnostic laboratory operations.

Pay: From ₹20,000.00 per month
