Position: Security Officer
Job Summary
HKM Charitable Foundation is looking for an experienced and responsible Security Officer to oversee the safety, security, and discipline of the Kapparada Kitchen premises. The candidate should have strong experience in the security field, with a proven track record in handling security operations, supervising security personnel, and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the overall security and safety of the Kapparada Kitchen premises.
- Supervise and manage security guards and other security personnel.
- Ensure proper security coverage at all entry and exit points.
- Monitor visitor, staff, vehicle, and material movement.
- Maintain and enforce security procedures, protocols, and access-control systems.
- Conduct regular security rounds and inspections of the premises.
- Ensure proper maintenance of security registers, incident reports, visitor records, and other documentation.
- Handle security incidents, emergencies, theft, unauthorized access, and other security-related issues promptly.
- Coordinate with local police, emergency services, and other authorities whenever required.
- Ensure security staff follow their assigned duties, shifts, uniforms, and discipline.
- Prepare duty rosters and ensure adequate security deployment at all times.
- Identify potential security risks and recommend appropriate preventive measures.
- Monitor CCTV surveillance and ensure timely reporting of suspicious activities.
- Conduct regular briefings and training for security personnel.
- Ensure strict adherence to the organization's safety and security policies.
- Submit regular security reports to the management.
- Perform any other security-related duties assigned by the management.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in the security field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience as a Security Supervisor, Security In-charge, or similar supervisory role is preferred.
- Strong experience in managing and supervising security personnel.
- Good knowledge of security procedures, access control, surveillance, emergency response, and incident management.
- Experience in handling security operations for large facilities, kitchens, institutions, charitable organizations, factories, warehouses, or similar establishments will be an advantage.
- Physically fit and capable of handling security-related responsibilities.
- Good communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and take appropriate action during emergencies.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain security records is preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should be a mature, disciplined, alert, and responsible security professional with extensive practical experience in the security field. Candidates with previous experience as a Security Supervisor or Security In-charge for 3-5 years or more will be given preference.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
