Position: Operations Manager – Heavy Equipment (Cranes Division)

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and oversee daily operations of mobile cranes, crawler cranes, and heavy lifting equipment.

Ensure efficient deployment, scheduling, and utilization of crane fleets and operators.

Coordinate with clients, project managers, transport teams, and maintenance departments to ensure smooth project execution.
-
Maintain strong customer relationships and ensure high client satisfaction across all projects.
-
Handle customer inquiries, operational issues, and service improvement initiatives.
-
Monitor and control employee timesheets, equipment working hours, overtime, and manpower allocation.
-
Ensure accurate timesheet submission and coordination with HR and finance departments.
-
Monitor operational performance, productivity, equipment availability, and project timelines.
-
Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations, safety standards, and company HSE policies.

Supervise crane operators, riggers, supervisors, and support staff.
-
Control operational costs and improve efficiency while maintaining high service quality.
-
Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize equipment downtime.

Prepare operational reports, utilization reports, and performance KPIs.

Utilize SAP system for operations tracking, reporting, timesheet management, and coordination with finance and procurement departments.

Support business development and client relationship management when required.

Ensure proper documentation, permits, certifications, and lifting plans are maintained
Requirements
-
Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

Minimum 8–12 years of experience in heavy equipment or crane operations.

Strong experience with:

Mobile Cranes
-
Crawler Cranes
-
Heavy lifting operations
-
Equipment logistics and transportation
-
Experience working in Saudi Arabia or GCC countries is highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of lifting operations, HSE regulations, fleet utilization, and manpower management.

Hands-on experience using SAP system for operations and reporting.

Strong customer relationship management skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage large operational teams and multiple projects simultaneously.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems.
-
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Preferred Skills
-
Knowledge of Aramco, SABIC, Royal Commission, or major EPC contractor standards.

Experience in crane rental industry and heavy lifting projects.

Strong planning, fleet management, and operational coordination capabilities.
