· General
1) You shall report to the Pharmacy Head.
Functional Responsibilities
· Medicine & Consumables Delivery
1) Collect medicines and supplies from the main or satellite pharmacy and deliver them promptly to respective wards, ICUs, OPD areas, and procedure rooms.
2) Verify delivery slips against issued items before dispatch.
3) Ensure timely delivery of urgent and STAT orders.
· Compliance & Documentation
1) Maintain delivery logs with signatures of receiving staff for accountability.
2) Handle medicines in accordance with NABH protocols for storage, temperature control, and expiry checks.
3) Follow proper documentation for narcotics, high-alert medicines, and cold-chain items.
· Safety & Quality Standards
1) Follow infection control practices while handling and delivering medicines.
2) Avoid mix-ups by verifying patient details and medicine labels before delivery.
3) Report any discrepancies, breakages, or shortages to the Pharmacy In-charge immediately.
· Coordination & Communication
1) Coordinate with pharmacists, nursing staff, and other departments for smooth delivery operations.
2) Assist in restocking ward medicine trolleys and emergency crash carts when required.
· Support in Pharmacy Operations
1) Assist in arranging, labeling, and stacking medicines in the pharmacy store when not on delivery duty.
2) Help in stock transfers between different pharmacy units.

· Job Knowledge: Proficient enough in both the Technical & Functional levels for the given role. Conceptual skills and understanding of Business model are utmost important. Shall know the practices in Industry widely followed from time to time.

· Others: To participate in all departmental training and quality initiative measures that is in practice across locations.

· To follow all the rules and regulations of the organization that are prevailing in practice from time to time.
· The Pharmacy Delivery Assistant’s role is vital in delivering & maintaining high-quality patient care.
· Take ownership of all the duties that you are responsible for at your workplace.
In addition to the above mentioned duties and job functions any other assignment given by the immediate superior or the management will have to be carried out.
Pay: Up to ₹25,000.00 per month
