Key ResponsibilitiesProject Billing & Documentation
- Prepare and submit Running Account (RA) Bills and Final Bills as per contract conditions.
- Verify executed quantities from site measurements and approved drawings.
- Prepare measurement sheets and coordinate with site engineers for quantity certification.
- Maintain Measurement Books (MB) and other billing records as required by the client department.
- Ensure all supporting documents required for bill submission are complete and accurate.
Quantity Surveying
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and BOQs.
- Compare executed quantities with BOQ quantities and monitor quantity variations.
- Prepare variation statements, deviation statements, and extra item calculations wherever applicable.
- Maintain quantity reconciliation throughout the project.
Client Coordination
- Coordinate with client engineers and department officials for measurement verification and bill certification.
- Follow up for bill approvals, payment processing, and clearance of observations raised by the department.
- Maintain records of submitted bills, certified bills, recoveries, deductions, and payments received.
Cost Monitoring
- Track project-wise billing progress against contract value.
- Monitor recoveries such as Security Deposit, Retention Money, TDS, GST, Labour Cess, Royalty, and other statutory deductions.
- Assist management in monitoring cash flow through timely billing.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain billing registers, invoice registers, payment trackers, and project documentation.
- Prepare weekly and monthly billing status reports.
- Support preparation of project completion documents and final account settlement.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering.
- 2–5 years of experience as a Billing Engineer in government or infrastructure projects.
- Freshers with strong knowledge of quantity surveying and billing may be considered for junior roles.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of BOQ, tender documents, and contract conditions.
- Experience in preparation of RA Bills and Final Bills.
- Knowledge of Measurement Book (MB) preparation and quantity verification.
- Proficiency in quantity estimation and rate analysis.
- Good command of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with billing procedures of government departments such as CPWD, PWD, MES, ITBP, BSF, or other public sector organizations is preferred.

Salary
Salary will be based on qualifications, relevant experience, and technical competency.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
