We are looking for a diligent and detail-oriented Audit Assistant to support our audit and assurance engagements. This role is ideal for a candidate who thrives in a small-firm environment, offering significant hands-on exposure to diverse sectors
Key Responsibilities
- Audit Execution: Assist in conducting statutory audits, internal audits, and tax audits for various small to medium enterprises (SMEs).
- Verification: Perform vouching of cash, bank, and purchase/sales transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Financial Reporting: Help prepare draft financial statements, including Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss accounts, in accordance with applicable frameworks.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns, Income Tax returns, and TDS computations.
- Documentation: Maintain systematic audit working papers and ensure all physical and digital records are organized and secured.
- Client Interaction: Coordinate with client accounts teams to gather necessary data and clarify queries during the audit process.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous experience with filing Income tax, GST and TDS returns is required.
- Education: Any. Candidates pursuing CA-Inter (IPCC) or those who have completed their articleship are preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong foundational knowledge of Excel and TallyPrime. Familiarity with Zoho Books is a significant plus.
- Language: Proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory for documentation and formal correspondence. Ability to communicate in Tamil is beneficial for client coordination.
- Attributes: High level of integrity, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to meet strict statutory deadlines.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹17,500.00 per month
