As we continue to expand our footprint across South India, we are seeking an experienced and results-driven General Manager – Apparel Sales & Operations to lead our business growth and operational excellence.
Job Summary
The General Manager – Apparel Sales & Operations will be responsible for leading the company's sales, operations, business development, and distribution strategies. This leadership role requires a highly motivated professional with extensive experience in the apparel industry, capable of driving revenue growth, strengthening retail and distribution networks, and ensuring operational efficiency across the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Leadership
- Develop and execute business strategies to achieve sustainable sales growth and profitability.
- Lead the expansion of Volume Zero across South India.
- Identify new market opportunities and develop long-term business growth plans.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive primary and secondary sales across retail, wholesale, and distribution channels.
- Expand dealer, distributor, and retail partner networks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and business partners.
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end apparel sales and operational activities.
- Coordinate with production, merchandising, logistics, warehouse, and finance teams to ensure seamless business operations.
- Monitor inventory planning, order fulfillment, and timely product delivery.
- Improve operational efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.
Retail & Distribution Expansion
- Lead retail expansion initiatives across South India.
- Develop strategies for new showroom openings, franchise opportunities, and distribution growth.
- Strengthen brand visibility through effective retail presence and market penetration.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing sales and operations teams.
- Set clear performance objectives and monitor KPIs.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Business Performance & Reporting
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and business performance reports.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to support strategic decisions.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
QualificationsExperience
- Minimum 10 years of experience in Apparel Sales & Operations.
- At least 5 years in a senior leadership or management role.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale retail, distribution, and sales operations.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Textile, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- MBA is an added advantage.
