QA Analyst – Ownership & Problem-Solving Role
We are looking for a proactive and analytical QA Engineer who can take ownership of product quality. The ideal candidate will not only identify and report issues but also investigate root causes, suggest practical solutions, follow up with the development team, and ensure every issue is properly resolved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take complete ownership of quality across web and mobile projects.
- Understand requirements, identify gaps, and raise concerns before development begins.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and testing checklists.
- Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, API, performance, and cross-platform testing.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and prioritize bugs with clear evidence.
- Investigate the possible root cause and recommend practical solutions.
- Coordinate with developers and designers until issues are fully resolved.
- Think from an end-user and business perspective to identify usability and workflow problems.
- Lead QA activities, manage priorities, and ensure releases are stable and user-ready.
- Improve testing processes and help prevent recurring issues.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience in manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Excellent analytical, logical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lead QA efforts and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong bug-reporting, communication, and team-coordination skills.
- Familiarity with Jira or similar tools, Postman, and BrowserStack.
- Understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- A solution-oriented mindset—not just finding problems, but helping solve them.
Nice-to-Have:
- Experience with Selenium, Appium, or other automation tools.
- Knowledge of API testing and basic SQL queries.
- Understanding of database structures and performance testing.
- Previous experience leading QA activities or mentoring junior testers.
