Job Summary
The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for planning, supervising, and executing civil construction activities to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role includes managing site operations, coordinating with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, supervise, and monitor day-to-day civil construction activities at the project site.
- Ensure all work is executed as per approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and applicable standards.
- Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP teams, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution.
- Prepare work schedules, resource plans, and manpower deployment for timely project completion.
- Monitor site progress and ensure adherence to project timelines and milestones.
- Review construction drawings and resolve technical issues in coordination with the design team.
- Supervise RCC works, masonry, plastering, finishing works, waterproofing, and external development activities.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, machinery, and equipment.
- Monitor work quality and ensure compliance with quality control procedures and project specifications.
- Coordinate with the Quality Control team for inspections, testing, and approvals.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment at the site.
- Review subcontractor performance and ensure work is completed as per contractual requirements.
- Verify measurements, work quantities, and contractor bills in coordination with the Quantity Surveying team.
- Maintain daily progress reports, site records, material consumption reports, and project documentation.
- Identify project risks, delays, and technical challenges, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct regular site meetings and provide progress updates to management.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff to improve productivity and technical performance.
Qualifications
- B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
- Master's degree is an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- 5–10 years of experience in civil construction project execution.
- Experience in residential, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
- Proven experience in handling site execution, contractor coordination, and project management.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and engineering practices.
- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings.
- Knowledge of IS Codes, project specifications, and construction standards.
- Experience in project planning, scheduling, and site management.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management tools such as MS Project or Primavera (preferred).
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
