Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of stock, including receipts, issues, and returns.
- Stock Control: Ensure timely updates in SAP/ERP system for inward and outward material movement.
- Documentation: Prepare GRN, issue slips, and maintain daily stock registers.
- Coordination: Liaise with procurement, production, and accounts for smooth material flow.
- Compliance: Follow company policies, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
- Audit Support: Assist in internal/external audits by providing accurate records and reports.
- Reporting: Submit daily/weekly/monthly stock reports to management.
- Receive incoming materials and verify them against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and other relevant documents.
- Coordinate with the Purchase, Production, Quality, and Accounts departments for timely material receipt and clearance.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and systematic arrangement of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of inward and outward material movements.
- Issue materials to production and other departments against authorized material requisitions.
- Maintain minimum and maximum stock levels and highlight shortages or excess inventory.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies with system records.
- Ensure proper documentation of GRN/MRN, material issue slips, return notes, and other store-related records.
- Update inventory records in ERP/system on a timely basis.
- Monitor slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, rejected, and obsolete materials.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safety, and utilization of storage space.
- Follow FIFO/FEFO principles wherever applicable.
- Coordinate with the Quality Department for inspection and disposition of incoming/rejected materials.
- Ensure that materials are stored safely to prevent damage, deterioration, or loss.
- Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly inventory and stores reports as required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing relevant stock records and documents.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and safety requirements.
- Perform any other store-related responsibilities assigned by the reporting manager.
Required Skills
- ERP/SAP Knowledge: Hands-on experience in SAP B1 or similar inventory software.
- Analytical Ability: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling.
- Communication Skills: Ability to coordinate with multiple departments effectively.
- Problem-Solving: Quick resolution of discrepancies in stock or documentation.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
