Job Description Position: Merchandiser / Business Development Manager – Exports (Global Market) Company: MEKR Technologies Private Limited Location: Kundli, Sonipat Industry: Manufacturing / Export / Retail Solutions Job Type: Full-time Experience: 5-10 years in international merchandising or business development Salary: As per industry standards (Base ₹12–20 LPA + Performance-Based Incentives) Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic and driven Merchandiser or Business Development Manager to spearhead our global exports, particularly targeting markets in the US, UK, and other key international territories. This individual will be pivotal in establishing and scaling export operations, connecting with large-format retailers (e.g., Walmart, Home Depot, B&Q), and building relationships with global brands in the DIY and retail sectors. Key Responsibilities: - Initiate and lead export operations across US, UK, and other international markets. - Develop new business opportunities and partnerships with global retailers and DIY brands. - Manage client acquisition and onboarding, ensuring strong relationship-building with procurement heads and buyers. - Handle pricing negotiations, order placements, and logistical coordination. - Monitor international market trends and competitor strategies to refine offerings. - Represent MEKR Technologies at trade shows, expos, and buyer meetings globally. - Coordinate with internal production, logistics, and design teams to ensure timely fulfillment. - Ensure compliance with export regulations, certifications, and documentation. Required Skills and Experience: - Proven experience in international exports, preferably in retail, hardware, home improvement, or consumer products. - Established network with buyers from Walmart, Home Depot, Lowe’s, Target, or other major global retail chains. - Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. - Ability to work independently and handle P&L responsibilities for exports. - Proficiency in export documentation, regulations, and compliance. - Entrepreneurial mindset and growth-driven attitude. Compensation & Benefits: Base Salary: ₹12–20 LPA (based on experience and network) Incentives: Performance-based incentives tied to new business acquisition, export volume, and revenue growth.
