Injection Molding Engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Injection Molding Engineer with hands-on experience in injection molding operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for machine setup, mold changing, process optimization, troubleshooting, and ensuring smooth production while maintaining quality standards. The role requires strong technical knowledge of injection molding processes and the ability to work closely with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate injection molding machines for production.
- Perform mold changing, machine setting, and process start-up.
- Ensure production of quality components as per specifications.
- Monitor production processes and maintain optimum machine performance.
- Troubleshoot molding defects, machine issues, and process-related problems.
- Optimize machine parameters to improve productivity and minimize rejection.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams for smooth operations.
- Conduct preventive maintenance of molds and support routine machine maintenance.
- Maintain production records and process documentation.
- Follow workplace safety standards and company procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E. in Mechanical Engineering, Plastic Engineering, Polymer Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in injection molding operations.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of injection molding machine setup and operation.
- Experience in mold changing and machine setting.
- Knowledge of process optimization and cycle time improvement.
- Ability to identify and resolve molding defects and machine issues.
- Understanding of quality standards in a manufacturing environment.
- Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
