About the Role:
We are looking for a Legal & Compliance Executive to manage customer escalations involving legal and regulatory matters. The role requires ensuring timely resolution of customer grievances, handling legal notices, maintaining regulatory compliance, and mitigating legal risks in line with RBI guidelines and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end customer escalations, legal notices, and regulatory complaints.
- Draft and review responses to legal notices, customer grievances, and communications from regulatory authorities.
- Ensure compliance with RBI regulations, Digital Lending Guidelines, Fair Practices Code, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with Operations, Customer Support, Collections, Risk, and external counsel to investigate and resolve cases.
- Identify legal and compliance risks, conduct root cause analysis (RCA), and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain legal documentation, MIS reports, and support audits, inspections, and litigation matters.
Qualifications & Experience:
- LL.B. (Mandatory)
- 2–5 years of experience in Legal & Compliance within an NBFC, FinTech, Banking, or Financial Services organization.
- Experience in customer grievance redressal, regulatory compliance, and legal drafting is preferred.
Required Skills:
- Strong knowledge of RBI regulations, Consumer Protection Act, and Contract Law.
- Excellent legal drafting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple escalations in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
