The Opportunity:-
- Medigence Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Architect to lead large-scale, high-impact projects across healthcare, hospitality, and luxury residential sectors.
- This is a leadership role requiring a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and design excellence. The ideal candidate will bring strong command over complex healthcare planning and infrastructure while also demonstrating creative capability for premium architectural and hospitality environments.
- As a Senior Architect at Medigence, you will become part of a legacy that has successfully delivered 125+ planning and design projects, covering over 2 crore sq. ft. of designed space. Beyond managing prestigious projects, this role carries responsibility for design leadership, team productivity, and overall project excellence.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign & Project Leadership
- Lead the architectural lifecycle of large-scale projects from concept to completion
- Develop and oversee master planning strategies
- Provide conceptual and schematic design leadership for ongoing projects
- Ensure projects align with modern design principles while delivering distinctive and globally competitive concepts
- Guide design development to meet client requirements and project vision
- Provide strategic inputs during project planning and feasibility stages
- Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize costs without compromising design quality
Technical Oversight
- Review architectural drawings, including plans, sections, and elevations, for design integrity and technical accuracy
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and regulations, including GDCR, NBC, and other statutory requirements
- Support preparation and review of working drawings and GFCs
- Coordinate with MEP, structural, and other consultants to achieve effective space planning and technical integration
- Resolve technical design and execution challenges
- Review material specifications and recommend suitable alternatives
- Freeze and finalize:
- Room layouts
- Furniture positioning
- Ceiling heights
- Door and window locations
Execution & Site Coordination
- Provide guidance on design-related site issues
- Review site progress through virtual coordination or periodic site visits, where applicable
- Resolve architectural discrepancies during execution stages
- Ensure design intent is maintained during construction
Team & Client Leadership
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of 15+ architects, designers, and engineers
- Ensure high productivity, quality standards, and collaborative working culture
- Share design insights, technical expertise, and industry best practices
- Support skill development and mentoring of junior architects
- Participate in client meetings and design presentations, as required
- Support preparation of presentations and project communication materials
RequirementsExperience
- 10+ years of professional experience leading large-scale architectural and design projects
- Proven experience managing teams and delivering complex projects successfully
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent qualification
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of:
- Building codes and statutory regulations
- GDCR and NBC compliance
- MEPF and structural coordination
- Healthcare facility planning and design
- Luxury residential and hospitality architecture
Leadership & Business Acumen
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Ability to drive productivity and maintain high-quality delivery standards
- Commercial awareness with focus on project efficiency, profitability, and client satisfaction.
