- Welcoming guests and making a good first impression
- Checking guests in and out of their rooms, and returning deposits
- Taking reservations and bookings, and assisting guests with changes to their bookings
- Answering phones, responding to guest inquiries, and providing information about local attractions
- Ensuring that all guest information is up-to-date and accurate in the hotel's database
