We are seeking a Senior Server Administrator who is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and reliable operation of servers, systems, and backend infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. The role ensures high availability, performance, and security of infrastructure hosted in State Data Centers and cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), while continuously improving system performance, security posture, and operational efficiency.
- Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot server hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Manage and administer virtualization platforms (VMware and Hyper-V).
- Provision, configure, and maintain infrastructure in Azure and AWS environments.
- Administer Active Directory, Group Policies (GPO), ADFS, Azure AD, and identity management services.
- Manage infrastructure services such as DNS, DHCP, and directory services.
- Support and administer Office 365, email servers, and mail relay systems.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot backup solutions (Veeam Backup & Replication).
- Perform backup monitoring, restore testing, and ensure compliance with DR policies.
- Implement and manage patching strategies using SCCM (Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager).
- Handle Qualys Patch Management and vulnerability remediation lifecycle.
- Apply OS and application patches and ensure compliance across servers.
- Administer Accops solutions (VDI, MFA, and secure remote access).
- Ensure secure access and endpoint compliance for remote users.
- Perform daily monitoring of servers and infrastructure services.
- Ensure system security, access control, and compliance adherence.
- Coordinate with network/security teams for secure configurations.
- Maintain file shares, storage systems, and access permissions.
- Maintain accurate inventory of server hardware and software assets.
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and DR plans.
- Coordinate with vendors for issue resolution and technical support.
- Ensure smooth functioning of UAT and Production environments.
- Provide technical support and knowledge transfer to users and IT teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on incident, problem, and change management.
- Participate in Change, Incident, and Release Management processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent.
