*About the Role*
We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Interior Designer with 3–6 years of professional experience to join our design team in Greater Kailash.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of interior design, space planning, materials and finishes, technical detailing, and project execution. The candidate should be confident in handling clients, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and independently taking projects from concept to execution.
*Key Responsibilities*
Lead interior design projects from concept development through execution and final handover.
Understand client requirements, lifestyle preferences, design expectations, and budgets.
Develop space plans, furniture layouts, mood boards, material palettes, design concepts, and presentations.
Prepare and review detailed AutoCAD drawings, working drawings, elevations, sections, furniture details, and execution drawings.
Develop and coordinate designs for kitchens, wardrobes, false ceilings, flooring, wall treatments, lighting, furniture, bathrooms, and other interior elements.
Select appropriate materials, finishes, fixtures, furniture, lighting, and décor in line with the design concept and budget.
Prepare/review BOQs, material specifications, and design documentation.
Conduct regular site visits and ensure that execution follows approved designs and drawings.
Coordinate closely with clients, architects, contractors, consultants, vendors, and execution teams.
Resolve design and site-related issues efficiently while maintaining design quality.
Monitor project timelines, deliverables, and design milestones.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure timely completion.
Present design concepts and proposals professionally to clients and incorporate feedback.
Guide and mentor junior interior designers and review their drawings and design deliverables.
Maintain high standards of aesthetics, functionality, detailing, and execution quality.
*Required Skills & Qualifications*
Bachelor's/Diploma degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field.
3–6 years of relevant professional experience in interior design.
Strong experience in residential interiors; experience with premium/luxury projects will be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and working drawings.
Proficiency in SketchUp, Photoshop, Enscape/3D visualization software is preferred.
Strong understanding of space planning, materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and interior detailing.
Ability to read and coordinate architectural and MEP drawings.
Strong client-handling and presentation skills.
Good knowledge of vendors, contractors, materials, and on-site execution.
Strong attention to detail, aesthetics, and quality.
Ability to independently manage projects and meet deadlines.
Good communication, coordination, problem-solving, and team-management skills.
