Fashion Designer (Women’s Wear) – Bangalore (On-site)
We’re looking for a hands-on Fashion Designer to be responsible of the development of women’s garments from concept to final sample.
This role focuses on designing tops, shirts, tunics, skirts, pants, and dresses, with strong attention to fit, construction, and detail. While design is the core, a solid understanding of draping is essential to execute more complex silhouettes beyond basic patterns.
What You’ll Do
Design and develop women’s garments across multiple categories (RTW)
Create designs both manually (sketching/draping) and digitally
Translate manual concepts into digital designs, and refine/adjust designs across both formats
Adapt and finalize printed or hand-developed designs digitally for production
Use draping techniques where needed to build and refine unique silhouettes
Convert designs into patterns (manual → digital) and prepare for grading
Guide samplers through every detail of construction and finishing
Own the full process: design → sampling → fitting → final approval
Ensure all samples meet fit, quality, and technical specifications
Solve design and construction challenges quickly and effectively
What We’re Looking For
Strong experience in women’s wear design (RTW)
Ability to design both manually and digitally, and move seamlessly between the two
Solid understanding of draping, pattern making, and garment construction
Ability to move from mannequin → pattern → digital grading
Experience working closely with samplers and production teams
Strong attention to detail in fit, finishing, and garment quality
Fast-paced, solution-oriented mindset
Basic knowledge of couture techniques is a plus
