About the Role
As a Content Writer at Travmonde, you will do much more than write.
You will research destinations, understand travel products, organise information, and create content that helps people make informed travel decisions.
Every destination has a story. Every supplier has knowledge. Every product has details that matter.
Your role is to bring all of that together in a way that is accurate, engaging, easy to understand, and valuable for everyone who uses our platform.
You won't simply be producing content to fill pages. You will be helping build a trusted knowledge foundation that supports our products, our customers, our partners, and the future growth of Travmonde.
What You'll Do
- Research destinations, experiences, attractions, and travel products in depth before writing.
- Create, update, and maintain content for destination pages, product listings, travel guides, blogs, landing pages, supplier information, internal documentation, and other business content.
- Write SEO-friendly content that answers real user questions while remaining natural and engaging.
- Ensure every piece of content is accurate, consistent, and aligned with Travmonde's tone of voice.
- Ask questions to clarify whycontent is needed and how it will be used
- Organise information so it can be reused across different teams and platforms instead of being written from scratch each time.
- Work closely with Product, Operations, Supplier Management, and Marketing teams to gather information and close knowledge gaps.
- Continuously review and improve existing content based on feedback, changing information, and search performance.
- Help build a structured destination knowledge base that will support future products, automation, and AI initiatives.
SEO & Research
A good writer informs.
A great writer understands how people search, what they want to know, and how information should be organised.
You don't need to be an SEO expert, but you should have a good understanding of:
- Keyword research
- Search intent
- On-page SEO
- Content structure
- Internal linking
- Content optimisation
- Readability
- Topic clusters
- Evergreen content
Most importantly, you will be willing to keep learning as search and AI continue to evolve.
What We are Looking For
We are looking for someone who is naturally curious.
Someone who enjoys understanding places rather than simply describing them.
Someone who asks "why" before writing "what."
You should have:
- 2–4 years of professional content writing experience.
- Excellent written English with strong grammar and attention to detail.
- Experience writing SEO-friendly web content.
- Strong research skills and the ability to verify information from reliable sources.
- The ability to organise complex information into clear, structured content.
- A willingness to learn about travel products, destinations, suppliers, and customer needs.
- Ownership of your work and pride in producing high-quality content.
Experience in the travel industry is an advantage.

First 60 Days – Apply & Improve
Take ownership of regular content assignments. Apply feedback, improve your research process, optimize content for search engines, and begin identifying opportunities to improve existing content.
First 90 Days – Own & Contribute
Manage your own content areas with confidence. Create content that is accurate, useful, and consistent. Contribute ideas that improve our destination knowledge library and help strengthen Travmonde's long-term content strategy.
