Position: Finance & Compliance Officer
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Finance & Compliance Officer to manage accounting, taxation, statutory compliances, payroll, and business advisory support for various clients and organizations. The role requires a person with strong practical knowledge of accounting systems, tax laws, compliance requirements, financial reporting, and business processes.
The ideal candidate should not only ensure timely compliance but also help businesses improve their financial systems, reporting, and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Maintain, review, and supervise books of accounts for companies, firms, and other business entities.
- Ensure proper accounting in Tally with accurate ledgers, reconciliations, classifications, and reporting structures.
- Prepare financial statements, management reports, and analysis of business performance.
- Review accounting processes and suggest improvements in systems and internal controls.
- Assist clients in improving financial discipline, documentation, and reporting practices.
2. Taxation & Statutory Compliance
- Handle preparation and filing of various statutory returns and compliance requirements.
- Manage GST compliance, including GST returns, reconciliations, input tax credit verification, and related matters.
- Assist in income tax return preparation, TDS compliance, advance tax, and related taxation work.
- Maintain compliance calendars and ensure timely completion of all statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate with professionals, departments, and clients for notices, assessments, and compliance matters.
3. Corporate & Business Compliance
- Assist in company law and other business regulatory compliances.
- Maintain statutory records, documentation, registrations, licenses, and compliance files.
- Support clients in creating proper compliance systems and processes.
- Track changes in applicable laws and ensure implementation of required actions.
4. Payroll & HR Compliance
- Manage payroll processing for client organizations.
- Handle salary calculations, employee records, deductions, and related reporting.
- Support statutory HR compliances such as PF, ESI, professional tax, and other applicable requirements.
- Ensure timely preparation of payroll reports and compliance documentation.
5. Client Advisory & Business Support
- Work with businesses to understand their financial and operational challenges.
- Prepare MIS reports, financial analysis, budgets, and business performance reviews.
- Assist management in decision-making through financial insights.
- Support implementation of better accounting, reporting, and management systems.
6. Software & Systems
- Work efficiently with Tally accounting software.
- Use taxation and compliance software such as Computax or similar platforms.
- Maintain digital records and support automation of accounting and compliance processes.
- Assist in implementation of quality systems, documentation, and ISO-related requirements.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Commerce Graduate / Postgraduate / CA Intermediate preferred.
- Experience in accounting, taxation, GST, income tax, payroll, and compliance services.
- Prior experience working with CA firms, consulting firms, or handling multiple clients will be preferred.
- Strong practical knowledge of Tally, GST portal, income tax portal, MS Excel, and tax software.
- Understanding of corporate compliance, documentation, and business processes.
- Ability to communicate with clients and explain compliance and financial matters clearly.

Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹360,000.00 per year
