About the Role
We are looking for a skilled PHP / Laravel Developer with 3+ years of experience to take ownership of backend development and maintenance for our flagship fintech platform, Prime Pay. You will be responsible for building secure RESTful APIs, integrating third-party payment gateways, and ensuring high platform performance, data security, and transaction reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Core Backend Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using PHP and Laravel for the Prime Pay mobile/web app.
- Payment Gateway & API Integration: Integrate and manage secure payment gateways, banking APIs, payout systems, and third-party financial services.
- Database Management: Design and optimize complex MySQL/PostgreSQL databases, ensuring fast query performance and data integrity for high-volume transactions.
- Security & Compliance: Implement robust security measures (JWT, OAuth, encryption standards, PCI-DSS guidelines) to safeguard financial and user data.
- System Optimization: Monitor app performance, optimize slow queries, and manage background job processing using Redis / Laravel Horizon.
Key Requirements
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on software development experience using PHP and Laravel framework.
- Fintech Knowledge: Hands-on experience with payment processing, digital wallets, or financial app workflows.
- Technical Stack:
- Strong mastery of Object-Oriented PHP, Laravel MVC architecture, Eloquent ORM, and MySQL/PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with queue management (Redis/RabbitMQ) and caching techniques.
- Proficient with Git version control and RESTful API design principles.
- Plus Points: Knowledge of front-end tech (Vue.js / React) or cloud services (AWS / Docker) is a strong advantage.
Pay: ₹75,000.00 - ₹150,000.00 per month
