We are looking for a motivated Hardware Research Trainee to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation wearable devices. This role offers hands-on experience in hardware research, embedded systems, rapid prototyping, PCB design, and product development.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, prototype, and validate wearable hardware solutions.
- Research, develop, and integrate electronic components and embedded systems for wearable device development.
- Develop proof-of-concept hardware prototypes for wearable applications.
- Perform hardware analysis and reverse engineering to support research and product development.
- Design, develop, and optimize PCB layouts using industry-standard design tools.
- Develop embedded hardware solutions using Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, or similar development platforms.
- Test, validate, and optimize hardware for performance, reliability, accuracy, and power efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, firmware, and embedded system issues.
- Prepare technical documentation, test reports, and design documentation.
- Research emerging technologies, electronic components, and industry trends in wearable devices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
Preferred skills
- Experience with PCB design software such as Altium Designer, KiCad, Eagle, or similar tools.
- Understanding of analog and digital electronics.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and microcontrollers.
- Knowledge of low-power electronics and battery-powered devices.
- Basic understanding of signal processing and data acquisition.
- Exposure to communication protocols such as I²C, SPI, UART, BLE, or Wi-Fi.
- Internship experience or academic projects in wearable technology, embedded systems, biomedical engineering, electronics, IoT, or related hardware domains is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Biomedical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of electronic circuits and hardware prototyping.
- Familiarity with Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, STM32, or similar development platforms.
- Good communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
