Hiring: Architectural Drafter / Architect
Yugavist Smart Design is looking for an Architectural Drafter / Architect who can assist us in preparing residential house drawings and planning layouts.
Role: Architectural Drafter / Architect
Location: Nagpur
Work Mode: Work from Office / Hybrid / Freelance – depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare residential floor plans in AutoCAD.
- Develop Ground Floor, First Floor and Second Floor layouts as per client requirements.
- Convert initial concepts, sketches and plot documents into detailed architectural drawings.
- Prepare building plans, elevations and sections.
- Plan spaces such as living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, toilets, staircases, parking and utility areas.
- Make drawing revisions based on client requirements and project feedback.
- Prepare drawings suitable for further structural and construction coordination.
- Coordinate with the team for architectural and structural requirements.
- Maintain proper drawing standards, dimensions, annotations and layer management.
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Assistantship or related field.
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Experience in residential house planning and drafting.
- Good understanding of basic building planning principles.
- Ability to read and understand plot/site drawings and dimensions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and complete drawings within deadlines.
Preferred Skills
- AutoCAD
- SketchUp
- Revit
- 3D visualization
- Knowledge of local building bylaws and residential planning standards
- Experience with working/construction drawings
Who Should Apply?
Freshers with good AutoCAD skills and a strong understanding of residential planning are welcome to apply.
Candidates with 0–3 years of experience in residential architectural drafting will be preferred.
