Job Overview
Vibrant Publishers is seeking an experienced ePUB Specialist or qualified Intern with strong HTML and CSS skills for an on-site role. You will convert, format, and optimize manuscripts into high-quality, reflowable, and fixed-layout eBooks. You will collaborate with our production team to ensure flawless digital publication.
Compensation & Role Type
- Job Type: Full-Time / Internship
- Location: On-site (Borivali, Mumbai)
- Salary Range: ₹1,00,000 – ₹4,00,000 LPA (Commensurate with experience)
Key Responsibilities
- Convert manuscript files into ePUB and Kindle formats.
- Hand-code HTML and CSS to fix formatting bugs.
- Validate files to ensure error-free distribution.
- Test layout rendering across multiple devices and apps.
- Optimize images and media assets for digital viewing.
- Maintain layout consistency according to brand standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Good to Have - Proven experience in ePUB and digital book publishing (or strong academic/project portfolio for interns).
- Mandatory - Advanced proficiency in clean HTML and CSS coding.
- Good to Have - Expertise with tools like Adobe InDesign, Sigil, or Calibre.
- Deep knowledge of reflowable vs. fixed-layout formats.
- Strong attention to detail for typography and design.
- Familiarity with Amazon KDP and IngramSpark requirements.
